iEARN, The International Education and Resource Network, was first brought to Qatar in March 2008 by Reach Out To Asia. Since then, iEARN has empowered more than 2000 teachers and 15000 students in Qatar to conduct projects that contribute to the health and welfare of our planet and its people.
Teachers in Qatar work on their projects and collaborate using the ROTA Knowledge Network which hosts teachers' project portfolios. Additionally, an annual Open House exhibition is organized to give students and teachers the chance to display their work and showcase their iEARN project achievements for the school year.
Reach Out to Asia
Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) works to bring about a world where every young person has a sense of belonging to a common humanity. Together with partners, volunteers, and local communities, we work to ensure that young people across Asia, and around the world, have access to the training they need to make a positive difference in their own lives and in the lives of their communities. Since our inception, ROTA has worked to provide education and training to marginalized youth to build their capacity to contribute to a sustainable future. Over the past 15 years, our programs have reached more than 1.5 million children and youth.
Education Above All Foundation
Education Above All (EAA) Foundation is a global education foundation established in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser. EAA envisions bringing hope and real opportunity to the lives of impoverished and marginalised children, youth and women, especially in the developing world and in difficult circumstances such as conflict situations and natural disasters. We believe that education is the single most effective means of reducing poverty, generating economic growth and creating peaceful and just societies, as well as a fundamental right for all children and an essential condition to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
